On this page we'll present a list of our education courses.

Graduating EMT class in March of 2009

Our Classes:

NEW COURSE:  Nebulized Medication Module is available to EMT's.  If you're interested in this training at your service, contact Oakes Ambulance for more information.

First Aid: held on a as-needed basis.

CPR classes are held on a as-needed basis. Community CPR has been cancelled due to lack of participation. Please call to sign up and when 3-4 names have accumulated we will then line up a course.
 
CPR INSTRUCTOR COURSE:  Was offered in February at our CTC.  Contact us for the next CPR Instructor course.

First Responder Course: 40-hour course with similar content as the EMT course, but not as in-depth.  A course will begin Sept/October of 2009. 
 
Refresher courses are held in March of each year.

EMT-Basic course is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2009.  Look for updates on the website.
 
Refresher course will be held the first full weekend in December of 2009.

EMT-Intermediate Refresher:  None planned unless needed.

EMT-I Course:  None Scheduled

Extrication Course: One completed, none planned!

Emergency Vehicle Driving:  None Planned

IV Maintenance for EMT-B's:  Refresher courses are scheduled each 2nd Monday in November every year.

Auto Defib for First Resp: Course no longer recognized by N.D. DEMS. 
Defibrillation should be taught in your HealthCare Provider CPR Courses.

50% Dextrose: Refresher courses held each 2nd Monday in November each year.

Also, most classes except the CPR and First Aid classes are registered through the State Health Department, if you wish to view those classes by calender date or by listing, please click on the link below.
